A contribution to the PSO supports:

• High quality orchestral concerts that serve 60,000 northern New England audience members annually- many concerts that include world-class guest artists who come to perform with the PSO
• Education and Community programs that engage over 25,000 children and adults a year- representing more than 200 schools through performances, workshops, and musician visits at Merrill Auditorium and throughout Maine
• 82 talented PSO musicians whose presence in our community enriches our teaching institutions, our music industry and our arts culture in Portland
• Distinction for Portland as a first rate arts, culture and entertainment city - promoting social and economic development for all of southern Maine
