Hours & Policies
PortTIX, the box office at Merrill Auditorium, hours for phone and window sales are Monday through Saturday, 12 noon to 6 PM, closed Saturdays during the summer (approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day). On the day of a performance, the box office is always open until curtain. Please call (207) 842-0800 or visit www.PortTIX.com to confirm hours of operation before traveling to the box office.
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and cash are accepted forms of payment. Personal checks are accepted up to 7 days before the concert (valid ID required).

Subscriptions and single tickets purchased online, by mail, phone or fax are subject to handling fees. These fees covers the cost of running PortTIX, such as credit card processing fees and postage, as well as employee hours. All tickets sold through PortTIX include a $2 Merrill Facility Fee, which repays bonds that helped pay for the 1997 re-construction of the theater.
Tickets purchased fewer than 7 days prior to the performance will be held at the Box Office.
All sales are final with no refunds or exchanges. In the unlikely event of a show cancellation, ticket prices will be refunded. Handling fees are non-refundable.
If you have special needs for seating such as a wheelchair or transfer seat, please indicate this at the time of your order.
Weather Cancellation Policy
It is Portland Symphony policy to cancel a concert only if the City of Portland declares a snow emergency. Cancellations will be announced no later than three and a half hours prior to the scheduled start time of the performance. Should inclement weather cause the cancellation of a performance, the cancellation information will be posted on the PSO website, on social media (Facebook), on local television and radio stations, and via PortTIX at 207-842-0800. Best efforts will be made to contact patrons holding tickets to a canceled concert via email and/or automated phone call, pending contact information on file.
