The PSO hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Each serves as a unique opportunity for friends of the Symphony to engage with fellow patrons and PSO musicians. PSO events help sustain the organization you admire.

Afterglow

Following Tuesday Classical concerts, join us at Grace (15 Chestnut Street) to interact with musicians, guest artists, conductors, and fellow patrons. Grab a drink and meet fellow Symphony supporters or run over to Robert Moody to discuss the night’s concert.  Afterglow serves as the perfect ending to the concert experience.

Annual Wine Dinner & Auction

The Wine Dinner has become one of the “must do” events in Portland! The lucky 250 Wine Dinner attendees enjoy handpicked wines which are paired with culinary creations from Maine’s most distinguished chefs. Click here for details on the 2012 Wine Dinner.

Designers’ Show House & Preview Gala

The most recent Show House took place in September 2011 on Portland’s Western Promenade. Click here for details.

The Symphony’s largest fundraising event, Designers’ Show House, features a home of particular architectural or historic significance decorated by Maine’s top home designers. The event takes place on alternating years to sustain the quality of ShowHouse.

Events are scheduled throughout the ShowHouse run, including the elegant Preview Gala.

The following are exclusive, invitation-only events for donors of the Symphony.

Grand Tier Dress Rehearsal
Spring
Join us “Grand Tier Center” to listen to a Tuesday Classical Dress Rehearsal. This event will include close friends and supporters of the 2010-11 season. Invitation only and reservations required.

Conductor’s Circle Party
Late Spring
Conductor’s Circle members gather at the home of a fellow member to enjoy music and fellowship in an intimate setting. This event serves as an important way of thanking our most generous supporters of the Symphony. Invitation only and reservations required.
